NSR suggests using a racing pickup with a low profile (with screw) to endure a better performance on the track. It is available with either a long or short blade.
The short blade is suggested for Classic cars and the long for GT / GT3 cars.
For tracks with lots of bumps or poor track joints, NSR suggests using a standard pickup (without screw) with either a long or short blade.
The Rally pickup (4842) is suggested for a rally track as it keeps good contact on the tracks with its long stem.
Wooden tracks have a different blade (4859), which is deeper and larger to ensure best performance.
