There are various motor support hardnessess available: Extra light (yellow), Soft (blue), Medium (black), Hard (white) and Extrahard (red). The Extrahard and Medium motor supports are most commonly used to minimize chassis chatter. Other hardness supports are used for more specific track conditions.
The Extrahard (red) 'box stock' motor support ensures a stable platform that is very good for high grip conditions. The Medium motor support is more versatile to many conditions.
A slotcar's performance can be easily improved using NSR's suspension kits. Using them will help to absorb bumps in the track and eliminate vibration. NSR offers 3 spring rates: soft, medium and hard. Medium is the most commonly used as they are easily adaptable to all track conditions. Soft is suggested in low grip conditions and hard in high grip conditions.
